I love children’s movies but this felt like a group of Facebook moms wrote it to scare kids off of social media. It has no depth or substance. It only has one funny scene, and the rest of it is data abuse propaganda. The storyline made zero sense, like they kept shoving more and more random things and plot twists in it to make it more interesting, but it ended up just making it worse. Barney and Ron (the robot) had a very toxic relationship. The continuous hating and loving each other back and forth didn’t portray the message of “friendship” that everyone is praising this movie for, And no one else in the movie had friends either. He only had friends at the end because he did something cool. Bashing on Slavic culture was uncalled for. Making the Grandma Slavic made no sense, no other family member resembled her. It felt very out of place. I did notice a lot of reviews saying the white stuff on the photo was ejacülation (child porn hint) but I understood it as bird poo because the robot said the bird liked his photo. “I want to give you a zero, but because I can’t, I give you, a one.”
