I wanted to watch this mainly because of Toni Collette (who is always great) and didn’t really know what it was about. It doesn’t take long to realize the agenda this series has, which is unfortunate because the story has so much potential. I miss when movies & shows were just about storytelling. Now there’s messaging and propaganda being shoved down the viewer’s throat every 10 minutes. It was so distracting to what could have been a descent series. That being said, there was also some not so great acting and some other things that didn’t make any sense and a lot of things that were included but didn’t contribute to the story in any way. So out of touch to take away from the reality of what went on at these ‘schools’ and make the whole thing about being trans(?). Very strange. Very narcissistic.
