What an absolute load of piffle. I was so looking forward to this after thoroughly enjoying Dahmer and The Menendez Brothers, but this strayed so far from the facts that it was ridiculous. His horrendous upbringing wasn’t really given the attention it needed to fully understand what caused these crimes to be committed. Too much time was spent on sub plots of Nazi atrocities, Hitchcock and other renown serial killers, which all became one jumbled mess. I understand artistic license, but the facts were strayed away from so much, it was more fantasy than anything. The ending seemed to glorify his actions and his impact on other serial killers. My opinion is this could have been done so much more sensitively, whilst sticking to the trueness of the story; instead it was just a mess.
