Pandering to the American romantic idea of the IRA and set in Boston (naturally). An action film full of explosions. A great cast list with probably the very worst “Irish” accents on the planet. TLJ as a terrorist bomb maker who ‘escapes’ from a British prison in Northern Ireland and goes on the rampage to kill a former ‘comrade’ (Jeff Bridges) who frustrated his attempt to kill ‘hundreds’ in Belfast. Lloyd Bridges stars as a former IRA ‘freedom fighter’ now retired but still keeps in touch with the organisation. Very tongue in cheek, but worth watching - once.

Dreadful. Emmanuelle was bad enough but this really put the lid on. Not deserving of a ‘Carry On’ label.
