Maya Belle

Terrible. The movie started off fine, the designs were cool and the cast was picked well. However the amount of plot holes and lazy writing was astronomical. I understand it's a kids movie but that's no excuse for a lazy plot. My biggest issue is the fact the the book stops people from reading it, so without them the prank wouldn't have happened anyways. The entire movie felt like the intro. There were no suspense or high points in the story. The ending felt boring and didn't feel like it made sense at all. It seemed like they just wanted to have a silly little movie where everything worked out. Not one bad thing happened to the main characters that they overcame. The biggest issue was Chloe being stuck on "oh I have my principles" yada yada, how on earth is that entertaining? Absolutely disappointing movie.
