I grew up learning about the Christian faith but there was often a disconnect for me when it came to Jewish beliefs and holidays mentioned in the Bible. In Acts 2, it mentions the disciples are together for a feast but I never really knew what it was, I was only taught about Pentecost. This book helped me connect the reason for the gathering and the significance of the giving of the Holy Spirit on that day. It's beautifully written and includes recipes, decoration ideas, and liturgies for each holiday. This book takes an understanding of how Christianity formed from Judaism and brings it to an understandable format by focusing on holidays and feasts. It's practical and enlightening in a way that I didn't expect and I've already bought a couple copies to give away! 10/10 I definitely recommend this book!
