It is not that I had many expectations watching this movie, but wow, it was sure underwhelming.
Seeing Keenan & Kel share screen space after so many years made it a minutely satisfying to watch.
I am not sure what the Producers and script writers were thinking when creating the movie. Like why was the humour aimed at a younger audience? The fans of the original Good Burger and the Keenan & Kel show are most likely age range from the late 20's to early 40’s!
My opinion:
- It would have been great if the film started with Kurt Boswell speaking through a prison phone instigating the proposal to close Good Burger down.
- The side story of Dexter and his sister felt
irrelevant and I would have preferred if Mia was Dexter's daughter (the mother could have been Monique from Good Burger 1).
The premise of AI technology was a good narrative, so kudos for that!
