I'm still reeling from Umer's death – I didn't want it to end that way. I cried for three days and took it really hard. Despite his darker side, Umer deserved Aliza's love. The novel was great, but it hit me harder than any other book I've read. I'm now a fan of Umer Jangir's writing, especially his heart-wrenching dialogues for Aliza.
