Definitely a new and unique concept. Easily could be an adaptable future of human kind.... You have a cyborg (human with adaptations/enhancements) trying to cover it up his corporations scientific vessel crashing with 5 different deep space alien species, we have synths (synthetic beings not human), and now we have the children that have been transferred into synthetic bodies. I am confused on the 4-5 corporations was unclear. But time will tell as the story develops. Opening credits explained 3 types of alternatives. Yet they talk about 4 corporations controlling the planet. And then the young boy prodigy just new in the last 10 years makes 5? We shall see how this season plays out, but so far i like the new adaption to the concept. Who knows, there are a few things i did not like but they werent drilled into me. I could easily look past them. Graphics were definitely great, making me think next season could take 2-3 years. I doubt many old timers fans of the originals who havent adapted to the technological age will like it. They still struggle with smart phones, lets not get into cyborg, synthetics, and AI
