This memoir was riveting, hilarious, and touching. Unexpectedly, I learned so much about Sri Lankan and Australian history, geopolitics, and the refugee resettlement sector in such a captivating way. It is laid out with a unique order of events, which I always love. And I listened to the audiobook, so I got to hear it all in Peters’s captivating Australian accent.
