Awesome! It tells us a lot about the History of Ottoman Empire which was one of the most powerful Empire. And maybe it was the Most powerful and richest Empire in 15th century. 95% of what shown in this series are true because they missed some important key characters and some key parts.i.e. 1. there was a warrior name Ulubatli Hassan who led the heroic attack and played a very important role in conquering constantinople. He was martyred while capturing the city. 2.Sultan Mehmet already was married when he conquered constantinople and had a son. Both are missing here in this series. 3. Urban who was an Engineer who built basilica cannon had a daughter and not a son. 4. Gustiniani was not in love with Therma but with Urbano's daughter, But Urbano's daughter loved Ulubatli Hassan. 5.Jannisaries armies died due to friendly fire i.e one of the cannons shot on them. 6.Lastly- The walls of constantinople was finally blasted when Sultan re-attempted(2nd attempt) the blowing of the walls through digging trenches with the help of the miners. Only then ottomans were able to enter the city.
