This film has some really memorable moments Pamela Anderson is well cast in the lead she has a naievity that is believable as the last Razzle dazzle showgirl after a 20 year plus as head girl Jamie Lee Curtis for me is a standout her depiction as a ex showgirl fallen on hard times has the hard edged reality to a life in The business..this film was over looked for any Oscar nomination because of the two actor's mentioned do give credible and noteworthy performances in what is IMO are rather pedestrian but interesting film . entertaining 😉

A Greek tragedy.set to a magnificent sound track and a performance of a well crafted interpretation of Maria Callas from Angelina Jolie... beautiful and first class production on all levels set in a Autumn Paris looking her best .. With a insightful screenplay and direction that explores the troubled Callas's life.. if you only knew this Diva Soprano Stupeda by reputation this film offers a sumptuous introduction to Opera.and woman of great substance Fabulous film..

I suppose this film is based more on the original interpretation of Bram Stokers book .which I've not read... and have been a little Hollywood or Hammer indoctrinated with the vampire narrative.. Visually this film had its moments but nothing IMO to rave over. ..the acting had a strong melodramatic over the top feel of a silent film with dialogue which is a contradiction in terms.. In particular Defoe..with a lot of running around to and fro I was a little eager to see the end credits Not for me....and I like a good fang film..

This beautifully produced film from a excellent book Locks you in from the start as basically a ..whodunnit or who will get it....the top job as the next Pope elect.. and the machinations of the political process excellent performances from a stellar predominantly make cast ..with small but pivotal role from the fabulous Isabella Rossellini (with miniscule amount of lines ) as a adamantine forthright Sister Agnes.. IMO well worth a acting award nomination.. With a ironic and once again IMIO poignant irony of an ending Highly engaging and entertaining 😉

I truly enjoyed this film ... a inventive and original way on doing a biography film... wonderful storyline of a warts and all telling on the life of Robbie Williams ...that doesn't hold back on his drug dependence and his meteoric rise to fame from age of fifteen....in a boy band .as a relative novice to the career and music of this highly energetic manic talent with a memorable voice and lyricist who stage presence is magnetic even in the AI incarnation in image.. with Williams mastering a telling sensitive emotive dialogue. Beautiful and stylish innovative photography and production . memorable music numbers that would do Busby Berkley and yesteryear MGM proud .with a Hollywood ending that left me with a smile If this film is not nominated for several awards.. I'll eat my cinemaphile hat.. Filmed with a Australian ( Victoria ) association proves Aus can deliver a World class film Original and unique Top entertainment

Absolutely fabulous horror stylish disturbing thought provoking a tale of warning on the pursuit of all the human vanities..Demi Moore is excellent and turns in a award winning performance the Director writer producer has a winner of film that will reach cult status.. magnificent production values and excellent cast Dennis Quade turns in a suitably sleazy performance as the producer..that he does so well.. Grabd Horror.. the 2 hr plus film was rivetting from start to its climactic end..not for the faint hearted or the squeamish...top entertainment..!

A wonderfully inspiring story based on a true event of a. senior man on a journey of self realisation and discovery ..at a time of his life when ...life has less days in front than what has been left behind and gone before..Chris Haywood give a solid camugeon performance of such a man on his quest on the Camino Santiago pilgrimage a walk and a journey of some 770 kilometres.meeting other like minded pilgrim's. some beautiful scenes of the beautiful countryside and shared experiences of non actors and other pilgrims reasons for taking the journey. .especially of Ivan and his towel and his telling of his story.. has inspired me to consider taking such a pilgrimage.. .highly engaging film..

I was rivetted to this film .knowing the current US political divide and the up coming 2024 election the attempt of insurrection and the over throwing vote at the change of presidency . Trumps loss to / Biden which is a turning point in American political history seems all to real of a possible civil war that this disturbing film predicts Never explained the reasons why. ... but that adds.. and is only mentioned a section of the society in apathy or denial says heaps about the American psyche of today Excellent production and cast . Kirsten Dunst is a standout as the emotionally drained photojournalist Highly engaging and highly recommended

I really liked this film... so much more than a comedy with a statement on the times in regards to the status of women in the early part of the last century. the premise of film is of poison pen letters .sent to a god abiding spinster Christian (Colman) in profanity .you don't take offence at the dialogue as it just doesn't register till the last scene in regards to what Edith says to her hypocritical father. .based on actual events which gives the film a credible theme..Olivia Colman is always good at playing these suppressed characters ..great cast of supporting females with chauvinistic males in positions of power..highly entertaining..!
