Absolutely fabulous horror stylish disturbing thought provoking a tale of warning on the pursuit of all the human vanities..Demi Moore is excellent and turns in a award winning performance the Director writer producer has a winner of film that will reach cult status.. magnificent production values and excellent cast Dennis Quade turns in a suitably sleazy performance as the producer..that he does so well.. Grabd Horror.. the 2 hr plus film was rivetting from start to its climactic end..not for the faint hearted or the squeamish...top entertainment..!

A wonderfully inspiring story based on a true event of a. senior man on a journey of self realisation and discovery ..at a time of his life when ...life has less days in front than what has been left behind and gone before..Chris Haywood give a solid camugeon performance of such a man on his quest on the Camino Santiago pilgrimage a walk and a journey of some 770 kilometres.meeting other like minded pilgrim's. some beautiful scenes of the beautiful countryside and shared experiences of non actors and other pilgrims reasons for taking the journey. .especially of Ivan and his towel and his telling of his story.. has inspired me to consider taking such a pilgrimage.. .highly engaging film..

I was rivetted to this film .knowing the current US political divide and the up coming 2024 election the attempt of insurrection and the over throwing vote at the change of presidency . Trumps loss to / Biden which is a turning point in American political history seems all to real of a possible civil war that this disturbing film predicts Never explained the reasons why. ... but that adds.. and is only mentioned a section of the society in apathy or denial says heaps about the American psyche of today Excellent production and cast . Kirsten Dunst is a standout as the emotionally drained photojournalist Highly engaging and highly recommended

I really liked this film... so much more than a comedy with a statement on the times in regards to the status of women in the early part of the last century. the premise of film is of poison pen letters .sent to a god abiding spinster Christian (Colman) in profanity .you don't take offence at the dialogue as it just doesn't register till the last scene in regards to what Edith says to her hypocritical father. .based on actual events which gives the film a credible theme..Olivia Colman is always good at playing these suppressed characters ..great cast of supporting females with chauvinistic males in positions of power..highly entertaining..!

Bradley Cooper wrote produced directed and stared. ...and with two lscreen egends who co produced Scorcese and Spielberg.in this masterful bio pic Superbly mounted in all departments ..suffice to say Cooper gives a riveting performance as Bernstein.as does Carey Mulligan as his wife.both..I predict to be nominated if not a win at the forthcoming film awards Engaging storyline of a Broadway legend..that I knew nothing about other than his fabulous music ..which is showcased throughout the film Classic film making at its best...top film..!

A real achievement in Aussie cinema. a backpackers nightmare with a hefty dose of all to reality. thrown in for good measure.. the two female leads a real characters. In an unreal or too real situation working in remote outback pub..with the miners and locals living in alcohol debauchery on their evening respite Hugo Weaving is excellent in his portrayal of the publican ..dark and menacing without the overt use graphic excess...the ending is something to behold...a simple narrative..that packs lots in... Top film..

Ridley Scott is a master at the epic..his visual style is flawless..a memorable battle scene of Austerlitz is a a masterpiece in film making and design Joachim Phoenix who plays Napoleon is portrayed without sympathy or humour complex and enigmatic which is appropriate for this kind of film. .but for me is the let down to the film while Vanessa Kirby who plays the tragic Josephine with very little dialogue manages to emote complete character.. Nevertheless a excellent film and grand entertainment..

Are very interesting twist on the Stepford Wives theme..brought up to date with a Matrix construct..which knowing the two previous films gave it a nice 21st century addition... beautifully filmed costume design ..sets and very well acted.. Chris Pine has a mesenmanic almost Hitler like control on his puppets..which has a nice irony near the end..when revealed just who is really pulling the strings..I like this sleek Sci fi horror film..with revelent feminist touches.. Olivia Wilde does a excellent job as director.. Good entertainment..!

Aftersun..a film about a very young Scottish father and his eleven year old daughter Sophie..on holiday in Turkey..more than a road trip and less than get to know you kind of film...which for me doesn't work. flashes of memory and a quick trip into Sophie's future. .why the dad is so unhappy is not explored at all.... Long visual pauses.to give a sense of meaning.with episodes ofhand held camera. .( which is not my thing) some lovely photography of Turkeys past.. Sophie the daughter gives a excellent performance and the Dad is likable.. not a film I would willingly revisit or recommend... .perhaps.a genre that I'm not familiar with..maybe it's needs a second view to get some kind of poetry. .but for me the film did very little for me..
