The story began from the start of the books, which I thoroughly enjoyed. Small details were changed to adapt to a live action scene. The CGI is not the best, but it is more than good enough to make me not care. The acting and voices for the main characters is great in my opinion. I have been waiting for this show to arrive on netflix for so long. I watched the original TV show, read all the books, played the games. Best christmas gift ever
