War 2 is the sequel to the 2019 blockbuster War and the sixth film in YRF’s Spy Universe. Directed by Ayan Mukerji and produced by Aditya Chopra, the film brings together Bollywood and Tollywood powerhouses on a massive scale.
The story follows Kabir (Hrithik Roshan), an elite Indian spy, who faces his toughest challenge yet against Vikram (Jr NTR), a formidable new enemy with global influence. Their cat-and-mouse battle spans continents—shot across Spain, Italy, Japan, Russia, Abu Dhabi, and India—with breathtaking action, espionage twists, and high emotional stakes.
Kiara Advani plays a strong, action-oriented role that ties into the larger spy universe, while Ashutosh Rana and Anil Kapoor appear in key supporting parts.
With stunts choreographed on an international scale, a gripping background score, and a budget of ₹200–400 crore, War 2 promises to raise the bar for Indian action cinema.
It released theatrically on 14 August 2025 (Independence Day weekend) in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, and Kannada. 🤗🤗
