I love the anticipation. Anxiety, anticipation, hope. My favorite movie emotions, over and over. I just wish I could rewrite it so that I’m surprised by every single characters specific move. The plot is to die for. After the first 20 mins, enjoy knowing what ever person is going to say/do (minus Kristopher Logan). I enjoyed the ending even though I already knew the blind would be involved. Sandra nailed the acting. 3* for making a movie an idiot(me) could anticipate. 3* for the acting and a great plot line.

Yikes! What a snooze fest. This might honestly be the worst movie I've ever seen and I've seen some pretty bad movies. I'm not even that picky or hard to entertain. Sci-Fi? What in this movie is scientifically accurate? Unless you've watched just about every movie and nothing better to do, don't even bother with it. Open a book, start a hobby, go for a walk for Pete's sake. Anything would be more exciting, entertaining, thought provoking than watching this movie. HARD pass.

"Friends With Titans" might make a better title for this movie. That and a shorter "giants battle" build up and a more in depth explanation of the main characters life(almost no connection to the death). It seemed like an unnecessary amount of build up for the fight scenes(which are very short and anticlimactic) only to find out towards the end what she is actually fighting against. I was very miss lead into thinking this whole movie was going to lead to some thrilling fight scenes. I'm not saying you need good fight scenes to make a good movie. I just felt misled and almost turned the movie off part way through. I also found the main character annoying and a drama queen until you truly start to find out why she behaves the way she does towards others, which isn't until almost the end of the movie. All that being said, I think the movie contained great acting, a possibly exciting plot, a meaningful message and lesson, and solid CGI. I would rate it low mostly because the entire movie was misleading and not in a good or surprising way. More of a poorly executed plot line way. I really want to like this movie but there's just to many triggers for me. P.S. Where is her dad? What happen to the last counselor? Did she really get away with arson? Did she really think everyone was going to die? Are the giants real? There's just so much I feel was left out because most of the movie was spent building up to the fight scenes.
