Firstly, I’ve seen every episode of Forensic Files at least once if not more. It’s on all the time in my house and is literally the only show I watch. Knowing that FFII was going to come out got my family very excited. After seeing the first 4 episodes I am immensely disappointed. I immediately found that the new narrator’s voice sounds extremely exaggerated and unnatural. There is no background leading up to the crime, it just goes into what happened. There’s barely, if any, conversations with family or witnesses and even the conversations with police, scientists, etc. is lacking. There’s also very little showing of the real scenes, evidence, and re-enactments. The show feels very rushed and overall is hard to watch. I’m extremely disappointed with the show in its entirety, only giving it two stars because at least they made a reboot and will hopefully make the necessary changes to make it successful.
