This brilliant series is a wonderful mirror into the past and a way of life. It reflects the foibles and successes of a family and their employees struggling to cope and keep pace with a changing society. The writing, the set designs and the costumes are magnificent, not to mention the cast. Julian Fellowes has created not one but a series of masterpieces. He has shared his knowledge of humanity with us. Thank you JF!
