I did not like the film. It’s way too long could have easily been an 2-hour film and doesn’t do what a biopic should, which is offer insight into the person. There wasn’t a good reason for it to be presented on IMAX. It is nothing like The Theory of Everything where the characters are well developed. These characters like cardboard cutouts and are background to what Nolan must think are good visual effects. I did get a chance to look up what CBE means after Nolan’s name. It’s a medal awarded to Nolan and stands for Commander of the British Empire. Nolan should avoid biopics in the future.
