Once again, EA completely neglects career mode and is still extremely broken. The transfer/loan aspects are a complete joke. Firstly, the low limit to the amount of transfers per window is completely unrealistic, the game takes loans into account so if you want to loan out a bunch of youth players, you may not get as many offers for players you're trying to sell. Also, when it comes to selling players and negotiating, clubs constantly try to scam you with crappy player exchanges and never want to pay a reasonable amount of money up front (especially the Italian clubs, which I'm assuming it's a cheap/offensive way of representing Italian football's financial struggles). You always have to spend five minutes negotiating just to not get ripped off. Having to delegate your assistant manager for loans to even have a chance of them accepting is ridiculous. Every low-level club wants an option to buy with your youth player loans. Like, yeah, I'll definitely consider letting Varsbergois VfK buy my 94 potential winger after the loan. But honestly, the most frustrating thing is when you're trying to sell GOOD PLAYERS but you don't get any offers in the window. So you're telling me none of the top clubs need an 84 rated LW? Right, for sure. Then literally the DAY AFTER the window ends, you get three offers for the players you were trying to sell. Makes me want to pull my hair out. It's like every club is managed like 2022 Chelsea. Todd Boehly is the puppetmaster of FIFA 23 Career Mode transfers. I only play this game for the lack of competition, can't wait for FIFA 2K.
