It's a wonderful movie, and it's very inspiring for children as well as teenagers. Yes, there are plenty of films with the message that "looks don't matter" or "you're beautiful just the way you are" etc. However, they projected it in a way that would make it simple for younger children to understand. It's important for children to learn early on in their lives that their differences should be celebrated. I feel like this movie should have been given a higher rating, but we all know that Rotten Tomatos is strict. My father, who isn't usually interested in movies of this sort, very much enjoyed it. I highly recommend this movie for those who haven't seen it yet.
