I enjoyed the complexity of Diego’s character; childlike, impulsive, reckless, generous and still capable of loving someone. Isabel’s character survived an abusive relationship, which made her seem cold and somewhat aloof. I enjoyed the first season a lot but couldn’t stand the second season. The plot was awful it went on and on without resolve. It made the authorities seem clueless and very inefficient. Eliminating Isabel’s character was perhaps for the ratings but was unnecessary because of the children. Maybe I am just a sucker for happy endings and didn’t bother to finish the second season because of that.
