I don't know why i didn't watched it yet but I do now and Im so glad I did. Its beautiful and sentimental. Its so lovely tho its sad, its melancholically beautiful. Its so moving, I recommmend it to everyone. The cimematography of this movie is so beautiful, no need to say about the acting Brad Pitt and Cate Blanchett killed it, and the dialogues are so moving and thoughtful, its a very beautiful movie to go back to again and again to remind ourselves about the beauty of small moments in life and why its so important to appreciate the present cause we never know what comes next, this is a full circle movie which is something i love. Its a very poigant and inspiring movie to watch. Its definately a must watch.

LOved the movie totally loved it i was anxious till the very last moment how its gonna end what is gonna happen and i loved the ending . Its such a moving tale. The performaces are amazing Cate and Rooney were AMAZING. Cate's acting is so mesmerizing and steller. I can't stress it enough but its a must watch. Its not just another lesbian love story but its a story about love and its identity, its stuggles and its beauty. Everyone must see it. Its been a few months since Ive seen this movie and I've rewatched it so many times since, its such a mesmerising movie, every frame, every gaze, every look means something its really beautiful to watch. I've also read the book it is based on and as a reader i can say that the movie did justice to the book. If you've not seen this movie watch it now you won't regret it

I watched the movie last night and when I just finished it my first thoughts were what have I just watched what happened what was that. I need to read a few articles and Rewatch alot of the movie itself to understand a lot of details that I overlooked and missed at first and it makes so much sense now. Firstly the movie is just amazing, it's masterfully made, beautifully shot and well acted. Cate Blanchett is the best, her performance is so mesmerizing, her acting is so good and realistic that I forget Tár is not a real person, when Cate did the conducting it's so beautiful and powerful to watch, some of my favourite scenes in the movie. She definitely deserve all the awards for this performance. The movie itself is so complicated and detailed it's amazing it has a lot to grasp. It talks about the manipulation of power and cancel culture but it was so much more than that. It ask questions to us of what is acceptable and what is not and that's something I enjoyed. In the movie Lydia's character is a powerful and manipulative figure but we still cannot help but root for her (atleast i did) and we know form the beginning that her downfall is coming but the way it happens its spectacular to watch.at times its difficult to understand whta is real and what is not. The ambiguous ending of the movie is everything, it left it up to us to interpret it in the way we want. Overall it is a must watch movie even if you don't like or know alot about classical music it's so much more than that and it's worth a watch.

I watched the movie this month and LOVED it so much its a new comfort movie for me and then I picked the book just thought I'll read a few parts maybe some chapters and here I'm after finishing the whole book last night at 5 and I can't love it more. It's a very well written book I was still thrilled even though I know the ending and that's something the writing, the characters , the dialogues, the undertones everything compliments each other so perfectly it's of the most perfect book I've read in a very long time. The changes in the characters state of mind and choices the metamorphosis was something ioved the most the way in the end carol was the vulnerable blobe and Terese made the choice. Everything comes full circle Terese walking towards carol in the end made me do happy I can't even tell. I love this book I love it so much. Everyone deserves to read this book and watch the movie you're missing on a lot of you haven't given it a try.

I wanna scream really loudly that is my first thought while reading the twist in this book. it is late at night and i just finished the book i haven't read a good thriller in so long but this one keeps me on the edge for the whole time. it is so well written with amazing dialogues, symbolism and the plot twist well i didn't see that coming it's amazing. A must read. I still can't get my head around the ending
