Is it supposed to be funny? The conversations about cultural diversity are very clumsily done. The main male protagonist is supposed to be tragically funny, but I just found the character annoying, self-serving and predictable. Sarah Oh, the female protaganist, looks like she's constantly wondering why on earth she agreed to do this show. Her attempts at comedy just fall flat. The best actors were the adopted daughter and her grandpa, to be honest. The old professors walk into so.many clichés about age it's embarrassing. Just don't bother.

Cliched melodramatic script, and shaky CGI, is the two things that I found best feature. The scenery is lovely, and the central actor playing Mowgli has potential, but I think Disney's Jungle Book, for all it's faults, is the better bet. 2/5

Starts well, and I was interested, but soon after the main protagonist gets left behind after the deal in Nicaragua it got really boring and contrived...when the two leads end up in bed together I was out. How predictable. And an hour and twenty minutes in, I found I couldn't care less about either of them. Turned it off. Ben Affleck Anne Hathaway and the legend Wilkem Dafoe can find something so much better to show off their talents. This is awful.
