Just finished watching this... Sigh. If I had only seen Season 1, I'd be rating this FAR higher, but sadly, I went the distance with it, so this is where we're at. The first season is good, it's solid, and it establishes the core elements that could've had this show on air for 7+ seasons.
Season 2, it's a bit obvious the writers didn't particularly know where they were going, and went for the cheap drama. Pretty much everything that happens you see coming a mile off if you've watched dramatic series before, and what seemed like the start of a great parallel arc for a female fighter just abruptly ends, and never comes into play again.
And Season 3 was just a game in stretching out the ending of the series. It felt like a whimper, and clearly, everyone knew it, cause the series cuts downs from 20 eps in Season 2, to 10 eps in Season 3. The ending is basically just out of nowhere, and it exists just to drag cheap drama in the dying moments of the sieries.
