I don't even know where to begin with this film. It was by far the most uncomfortable I've ever been in a theater. The music and symbolism is the only reason this deserves even one star. This movie just goes to show that an amazing cast doesn't automatically make a movie worth watching. This movie is one that could be appreciated by anyone who knows the original play. But even as a lover of the original play, this movie was uncomfortable and unsettling to watch. I sat through all of it in hopes it would get better and it never did. Unbelievably slow pace as well. In all, it was the worst movie I've ever seen

The only thing the movie had going for it was some well done camera work in the begining. The rest of the movie was a terrible attempt to make a feminist horror movie. Recent movies such as "Avengers: End Game" and "Oceans 8" were able to make incredible movies while also being able to mush forward the feminist movement. This movie had far too many plot holes and not nearly enough well written scenes. The whole movie was extremely underwhelming and lazily made. The ending was rushed and incomplete.
