The rating tagline lets you know what you are getting into: Rated R for non-stop bloody brutal violence and mayhem Another reviewer points out that one should be in a certain frame of mind before watching this movie. I could not agree more. I will assume everyone has seen Crank or the sequel, that is the frame of mind to be in. When done, you cant put down the poor reviews, they are true. I bet if the reviewer was ready to watch a movie like this, as opposed to their boss expecting a rating before a release date, there would be much kinder treatment of the deficiencies. When you want to watch some fast paced action, and kind of lose yourself into a movie to pass some time, this film will not disappoint. In about what seems to be less than half an hour, the 1h 36m joyride is over. Its not a deep movie, and other than the screen you are watching it on, there is only one other protagonist character which receives any sort of development, and this leads to one of the best surprises and twists in the movie.
