The most utterly incomparably colossal film I have ever seen- and this film isn't necessarily made for me, but oh my god it is beyond words brilliant. Highlights include the subtle reclaiming of fairy/witch/gothic tropes; the score (Vivaldi, much as in The Favourite, depicts sex in musical form); and the final scene is beyond stunning. You don't want to blink, so as to not miss a single frame. This film rewrites sight itself, but that's not the best thing. The best thing is its grounded, nuanced sincerity and warmth. It takes my breath away just thinking about it.
