It’s like Ubisoft looked at all the good things AC black flag did and decided their customers didn’t want any of that and they should focus on making the boring parts online based. I reserve 1 star reviews for strictly non functional and broken games, but this was so bad it honestly tested me.

Ignore the negative reviews. It’s a class game with a lot of good content and it’s got me hooked. I read a lot of reviews saying the combat was bad, but I can safely tell you that if you think the combat in this game is boring you either haven’t actually played the game properly or you suffer from a stunted imagination.

Pacing was bad, timeline was weird and cannon was basically abandoned in some places. Oh and the on screen character assassination of Galadriel is potentially the worst I’ve ever seen, definitely worse than what happened to Stannis in GoT and that shouldn’t be possible. They have a writer problem, bad decisions made all around. Don’t understand the focus others have put on casting choices when there is such of wealth of basic failures to comment on. I’m talking basic writing and film craft here. They somehow made an engaging and beloved story that was written decades ago so incredibly boring I struggled to finish it. Can’t recommend in it’s current form.
