It was a mess trying write the trilogy out of the corner Johnson put it in. Three movies in one. With no character development or justifications. Just characters filling quotas without personalities or real purposes to add to the story. The tension was just gone for me. An abomination of a movie. Give it a 5 year hiatus and maybe it can be handed over to someone with a vision who charts a path instead of mystery boxes.
