Pretty awful, honestly. I know it’s hard adapting classic books into film, but this is just malpractice. It’s almost like they only looked at a plot synopsis on Wikipedia, cast of characters, and then asked ChatGPT to crap something out. Barlow has no gravitas or dignity, just a spook who jumps from the shadows. My hopes weren’t too high to begin with, but it’s just amateur hour.
