I am not going to go so far as to say this was a terrible book, because I have enjoyed so many of John Grisham's books, but I will say it was a disappointment, imo.
As a follow up to The Firm, this story had none of what made Mitch McDeere's experience with Bendini, Lambert and Locke so engrossing. The only tie to the original story being an uncomfortable lunch with Lamar Quinn was underwhelming. I think I just expected something different.
