It's pretty looking game and has some good voice acting but that's where the good news stops. Incredibly slow burn, you have to invest hours of time into a completely uninteresting and illogical story before things pick up. Environment is barren and exploration is about a fun as watching paint dry as it's 99% walking in an arbitrary direction. Character customization as far mechanics are involved might as well be non-existent. Finally, the thing that just pushed me over the edge was the lock picking mechanic. You're telling me I walked for 20 minutes to finally get somewhere (marginally) interesting and now I have to waste more time fiddling with a repetitive mini game to open a box? After lockpicking a few dozen boxes it became a feature I loathed with such intensity I just stopped looting things and at that point why even explore. Probably the worst game produced by Bethesda yet. I retain some hope that the game will get better with dlc and mods, but as it stands, in no way is this game worth your money or the time investment.
