As a retired reporter, editor and social media editor with 40 years experience in the Canadian newspaper industry I turn on Morning Joe first thing every morning to start my day with critically important news coverage, informed opinions and expert analysis of key issues. While I’m not an American I grew up loving the USA because we were important allies and good neighbours. My father’s family grew up in Massachusetts and I have family in Maine, New York, Nevada and distant relatives in Louisiana so I like to stay informed and Morning Joe does that for me.
