If you like the phone app version of Monopoly, do NOT consider buying Monopoly Plus.
It is extremely limiting in terms of allowing you to customise rules, it is slow and clunky, graphically misses the simplicity of the phone version with too much buzzing and zipping around in perspective (and that's the 'classic' 2D version of the board, not the 3D one).
I couldn't take it even before I got through one turn. It's ugly and inconvenient. Just how sloooow are those dice rolls. Recently purchased milk expires during those dice rolls. Remember that's not just when you roll. It's everybody, every time.
I guess the designers were really into slow, floppy, bouncy dice rolls.
It's a wonder they bothered to include any Monopoly component at all.
Could not believe that only one customised 'house' rule could be selected, and of the six rules offered, none of them were the extremely handy one available in the phone game, where the first bankruptcy ends the game. (Keeping game length manageable).
Instead there was only a 'wealth rule' where the first player to $3000 wins, something that borderline changes the nature of the game anyway, and could still take a while.
I was really surprised by how badly this adaptation of a surefire game missed the boat entirely.
My $25 is gone, but avoid making the same mistake.
If I could have given it zero stars, that's what it would have got from me.
