I have been searching for how to contact the administration for DCC to no avail. Recently watching the Netflix show I was surprised to learn of the prior dance and athletic training of the cheerleaders and surprised to learn most hold full time jobs as professionals and attend training/practices/ games etc on their own time outside of their career. I was very impressed. As I continued watching the special I was struck by how these women are judged on their performance and every aspect of their physical appearance and moral character. Being cut for the appearance of their eyebrows despite awesome ability and performance and later being reprimanded for not visiting or sending a card to their bus driver? Many more examples. These women, obviously skilled in athletic ability, are scrutinized in all areas and paid a miniscule salary. In comparison to the football players they cheer for, I wonder how those same male players would fare if being judged by the same standards. If the player's eyebrows looked stange, fired, u missed a catch or did it but not perfectly, fired, you didnt send a card to the bus driver You should be ashamed! Administration seems to care and support the cheerleaders but I'm sorry, they are being held to a higher standard than even the players, with a fraction of the pay. The organization should be ashamed and not allowed to continue this EXPLOITATION. To expect perfection at this level WHILE not DEMANDING the same of the players is SECXIST and abusive. BOO and shame on Dallas DCC administration and owners.
