Joker is the dark take on the origin story of infamous DC comics character Joker starring Joaquin phoenix and Robert De Niro,directed by Todd Phillips.The story revolves around the life of failed stand up comedian Arthur Fleck in the awful city of Gotham and how Arthur Fleck becomes The Joker.The story is dark, gripping.It focuses on mental health issues, delusions and the contrast between the poor and the rich.It questions the system.Director Todd Phillips has done a fantastic job.The cinematography and editing are just great.And Joaquin phoenix really delivers an Oscar-worthy performance.
