Oh my goodness. That movie was unreal. When you feel like you aren’t watching a movie but people’s lives and it moves you to the core? Wow!

I tried. I really did. I heard mixed reviews about the Barbie movie but I put that aside and took my two daughters, a teen and an adult. We dressed in pink! We were hyped! We went in with open-minds!! I love Barbie! “If you don’t like this movie, you are missing it.” or “If you don’t love this movie you are a right-winged crazy.” or “It’s only satire, lighten up!!!! or “If you don’t like this movie, something is wrong with you.” I guess something is wrong with me. I could go on and on about how this movie was probably the worst I’ve ever seen but I’ll just say this: If, to build women up, we have to tear down men, make them look like idiots, just accessories, and pat them on the head and put them in a corner to “go find themselves”, then I want nothing of that. This movie was so incredibly divisive!! If I could give it no stars I would have. The one star is for Margo Robbie as she was an excellent Barbie.
