Absolute delight to watch. Better than any historical/ period movie shot in modern times for Indian silver screen.The direction, screenplay great star cast and Rahman sir’s music transports you back to the Chola era in history. Don’t go by bad reviews written by jealous people. This one is an absolute must watch and a masterpiece.

Very negative movie- full of brutal killings, nonsense story line, no message nor a good plot . Not worth even a star. Watched it out of respect for Nani. Otherwise, it's not worth your time. You can safely avoid it. Please don't go by fake reviews.
