I'm really enjoying what Larien has done here. No...it is not a direct sequel to BG1 and 2 (both of which I loved), and no it is not a Bioware game...it wasn't meant to be. There are fun quests, exploration is rewarded (Dark fey tea house???) and while it is early days there is the promise of a great game here. Combat makes you think...charge headlong into the horde of enemies...or take a moment to look around and see what you can use to gain an advantage. Its rough around the edges and there are lots of bugs...but thats why its in early release...to find and squash those goblins. If you want polish...wait to buy when it comes out in final release. If you don't mind glitches and bugs...give the early release a try.
