The way the participants start introducing themselves like - 'Maher cha naav hi ane sasar cha naav hi' (Name before marriage is this and name after marriage is this) is so disturbing in today's world. The woman should have one name to identify herself. A nickname is also okay. But having two names just bcz she belongs to two families after marriage and in-laws don't like her first name and thus change it or just expect that she puts her husband name and the surname of the in-laws is digressing. The TV show is popular like anything and I believe TV is the way through which such practices be questioned and not promoted. A woman can introduce her with whatever name she likes to be identified with but all of them following the same pattern is disturbing at different level.
