This book is a masterpiece. It represents rural society very well, that how people struggle to live their life how they tackle their problems in any circumstances. Though, some characters were not so interesting like Rai Sahab, Mr. Khanna, while reading their part I always wanted it to be finished as soon as possible so that I can enjoy the story of Hori and his family. Hori, Dhaniya, Jhuna, Gobar were very interesting characters. Afterall, my experience with Godan was very good and also I learnt many things. If one have the courage he/she can overcome any problems. Premchand have contributed so much to our Hindi literature. I insist others to please read this book, they will like it for sure.
