We read this book and loved the intensity of the story. The description of the wolf’s first hunt was awesome. However we feel like the problems that Wander encounters keep escalating and getting worse and more sad. This goes on for too long.
Only in the last five pages does the story get happier. The sad part went on too long!
Overall, Rosanne Parry’s writing is beautiful, but the structure of the book and how the timeline goes Is overall overwhelming.
