Though this game does have very nicely detailed guns that are fun to use, the guns are only half the game. The other half is the very poor, worse than early 2000's AI.
When you play a game like Onward, it feels like you want to take it tactically, and slowly. However, the second you fire a single shot, suppressed or not, every single enemy on the map knows your exact location and will rush you like a hive mind of pissed hornets.
It is also nearly impossible to use any of the sniper rifles, as the bipod obviously does nothing since you still have to make a stable surface so your hands don't shake, which you can only really do if you lie on the ground, in which case, the bipod doesn't work.
4/10, play Boneworks instead.
