I used to really enjoy playing F1 games and could easily spend hours playing them on end. With this one however, I haven’t had that feeling. It feels like it’s missing its identity. This is nothing against EA taking over, as I don’t have an issue with that, but a lot of the game modes are now confusing. These games were way better when it was the choice of quick race, career, and online races. You now have a whole ‘F1 world’ which doesn’t really make much sense and it feels like it’s a big push on micro transactions. Dont get me wrong, The game looks great and the handling is much better than it has been in recent years. You not longer frustratingly spin out even when you are feathering the throttle and the whole feeling is a lot more authentic. Overall it’s a good game but I’d probably hold off if you’re unsure.
