As a kid who gre up with these games and franchise, I’ve been waiting for this movie ever since it was announced. I would always check up on it, once a year. As a guy who shared his birthday with the release date for FNAF 3, I always felt a strong connection to this franchise.
And my god, has Blumhouse Productions delivered! For Scott Cawthon’s final project to us, the FNAF community, this movie has reached me in so many ways.
The movie begins with a previous nightguard’s op final night, and we can see how frightened he is. We also see some backstory to Micheal Schmidt, played by Josh Hutcherson. Mike has been moving from job to job, never being able to keep them for long. We then meet Steve Raglan, who gives Mike the job as Freddy’s.
Now, I won’t go into too much details, but overall, this film was fantastic. Absolutely fantastic. Everything from the tiniest detail to even the score, this film has earned its place in my heart as one of my favourites, next to Star Trek (2009) and Stargate (199-). To say this film is anything less than a 5 star is a crime, so I rate it 11/5.
I can only do five? Boo.
I hope this film can reunite the community, and save us from our toxic selves.
