The style of this drama was like Haley’s Comet… it exists but takes a long time to come around! The fact that it’s not your typical rich-guy-falls- for-plain-Jane drama will draw you in. But it’s a HUGE bonus when Ji’s character not only physically looks like Eminem (if he was Korean) but that his storyline has an 8 Mile similarity!! Not to mention… the cameos of Angelina Jolie’s lips on Sooyoung are amazing! Also, the chemistry between Ji and Choi had me rollin on the floor… esp the flicking of the forehead!! The subject matters that each character confronts are extremely down to earth… but it was their performances that were not only raw but riveting! After watching If You Wish Upon Me… my wish would be that most guys could be like Yun Gyeo-rye. It’s like pulling teeth to get men to express themselves. So it was refreshing to see a man not hold back anything and address all his concerns and questions straight away! Then again, it’s just a drama. But it’s still nice to have dreams, right?
