This movie is offensive and heinous. It’s listed as a dark comedy. There is nothing funny about this film. It is a scary dark film in terms of how people can turn on someone so horrific from something that is in no way their wrong doing.The whole narrative is appalling! This innocent man that never hurt anyone. He’s a successful professor and well respected by his peers and students. Then bam! People start having violent dreams about him. It’s their fucking dreams. He didn’t make them have those dreams/nightmares. He had nothing to do with it. All of a sudden he’s projected by everyone, including his family like a sadistic monster. His family doesn’t only not stand behind him but they too are afraid of him. His wife is a complete control freak BITCH! Paul Matthew’s life turned upside down because people were having bad nightmares about him. This movie is deplorable!! I do not recommend it at all.

I love this movie. It isn’t scary but it’s a great movie and I love the sheriff and his dad. These 2 are so funny. They truly bring the characters to life with tons of humorous personality. This is truly a very enjoyable, entertaining humorous movie. I’ve seen it a good half a dozen times. I strongly recommend to watch this movie. Remember, it’s not scary. It’s just an all-out very good humorous enjoyable movie 😀

The Wolf of Snow Hollow

Before I say anything I should get out there that I’ve got a dark side. There isn’t a lot that can shock me or scare me. With that being said I see this book was in the class of “truly unsettling, not for the average reader”. This review got my attention immediately. I checked “Running With Scissors” out from my library and let me tell you guys, this book is FAR from unsettling. It is HILARIOUS! Yes, Augustine Burroughs had a rough childhood, but folks the way he wrote his biography is so hilariously entertaining. This is a MUST read. I’m not done with it yet, but I know it’s only going to get more hilariously entertaining and an even more of a GREAT read! I love this book and it’s kept me in stitches simply because Augustine is such a good writer. He has made his troubled childhood into something that is so hilariously funny you can’t help to appreciate that he’s made a traumatic time into a very entertaining read. There no “self pity” at all. Nothing of that sort. Just pure great read and so entertaining, so funny. The reader has to admire and respect Augustine’s strength and courage to endure what he went through into, again, a FANTASTIC, ENTERTAINING AND HILARIOUS READ. Augustan, you ROCK and thank you for sharing your biography with us. Thank you for making, what some may seem horrible and brutal into an entertaining read. I will definitely read more of your books. You are a FANTASTIC writer! One last thing. I HAVE NEVER LOL so much from reading a book. Movies, yes, but a book,,,no. I just can’t say enough about this book. It’s a MUST read.

Running with Scissors

No doubt, Joaquin Phoenix is fantastic. He is one of the best actors of his time. But this movie was just not for me. I think it was confusing and all over the place. Parts were indeed funny. I don’t even think I can watch this movie again. I didn’t find it “watch again” friendly. I didn’t hate it, but I didn’t care for it either. I’ve seen much better Joaquin Phoenix movies much better than this one. That is why I’m giving 2 stars. I wish I had option for 2.5 stars, but no matter. I’m neutral about the film, but more on the dislike end. I’ve read reviews how some viewers really liked it. Thought it was a masterpiece. I don’t see it as that at all.

The movie was about bullying and how the person being bullied stayed above her tormentors I can so relate to her character. I’ve stayed above my tormentor too. Never stopping to his level because I’m so much better than he is. She endured so much from her tormentors. When she had a chance to get even and end her tormentors lives she didn’t. Instead she stayed true to herself, she helped them. She didn’t lower herself to their level. She stayed above them as she always did. She was so much better than they were. The end shows all will she what a truly wonderful person she is and how ugly and pathetic her tormentors will be seen once they are back home.

The Perfection
