I have enjoyed the Stone Barrington books for years. They are usually pleasant reads with some snappy dialog. However, Black Dog is not one of them. Far too many far fetched and disconnected story lines and weakly develped characters. Clearly Stuart Woods lost interest in his own work because he has more talent than showcased in Black Dog.
