The music was right for 1983. I was 18 then.The hair for the ladies and guys was wrong girls hair was permed or atleast curling iron sausages. The guys was short preppy hair. More neon colors were wore bright colors. It was grunge of the 90s and not eighties at all. I expected a positive vibe and not as it was, flat, grey they were portraying a darker time not the fun 80s

I love it. It captures the innocent times. It is spirited fun and silly at times. It has many guest stars that are no longer with us. I loved this show as a kid and now a old gal.
