This show started off well but ended poorly and with some stupid story twists. In the end , it became annoying.
The unpleasant, but misunderstood, hijackers are motivated by two Mr Bigs who will stop at nothing it seems to exert their will, but is it the case for all hijackers that they are all victims?
The motivation for the crime which involves several brutal murders is to short the stock of an airline and make a stock market killing (no pun intended) and escape from jail.
The plot twists do not make sense.
I know politicians are not what they used to be , but would they really cave in so easily to the hijackers’ demands?
Why is the Captain such a chump?
Why would the plane be allowed to fly unescorted across Europe?
Despite complaining about their route being blocked, the Mr Bigs manage to pull off a switch: how?
How do the bad guys think they are going to get cashed out? Suspend trading in the stock and cancel all bargains and they are stuffed. A call from HMG to the Stock Exchange and its game over.
Why do the bad guys fall out? And Mr Big No1 shoots No2?
Why are the politicians so ineffectual?
why was the plane not carrying an adequate fuel reserve?
Would the Governement allow a rogue plane to fly over London?
Why does Idris Elba let the murderer woman land the plan when he has the first officer, who knows the plane, sat in first class?
Finally the plane crashes lands…and so does the story. It just ran out of fuel.
